Hello, I’m Stuart, early 30’s from Yorkshire.
What?
I’m setting off on a loosely planned motorcycle trip from England to India then onto New Zealand. This blog will be the home of updates from the road with photos and videos.
Why?
Michael Palin and The Adventure Motorcycling Handbook. I’ve wanted to do this as far back as I can remember into my 20’s, backpacking wasn’t for me, great though it doubtless is. For me it’s all about the journey and the inbetween places. It was great going to Peru and China, but having flown there, you miss out on the context of slowly changing landscape and people and the vastness of distance between your home and theirs that gives context to your destination.
